University to start front area renovation at the main building and continue ongoing construction projects in university buildings next year
The university’s next year’s budget will provide €15.8 million for renovating and constructing university buildings. The capital budget is 6% lower than this year’s, and no new objects are planned to start in 2025.

As part of Tartu Mobility Week, all students, university staff and cycling enthusiasts are invited to join a bike ride on 16 September at 18:00 to get to know the most convenient cycling route between the Maarjamõisa study buildings, Vanemuise 46, and the Delta study building.

Information Technology Office invites you to try the IT helpdesk virtual assistant
Starting from 16 August, all staff and students of the university will be able to test the virtual assistant on the University of Tartu IT wiki page, which will provide support in solving IT problems based on existing guides. The trial period will last a couple of months, during which the Information Technology Office will be able to assess the quality of the virtual assistant service.

The updated virtual tour of the University of Tartu at virtualtour.ut.ee/en enables everyone interested to get to know the university’s learning and research environment already before arriving there. In addition, the tour gives an overview of bicycle parking and accessibility at the university buildings.
Orienteering course "Dormitories as hubs of student life" is still open for final few weeks
From 8 May to 20 October, all UT employees, students, alumni and all others interested are welcome to complete the orienteering course and reconnect with the history of the UT dormitories.
