You can leave donations to the victims of the Ukrainian war to Biomedicum

In order to help people who have suffered in the Ukrainian-Russian war, the Estonian Medical Students' Association and University of Tartu Student Union have set up donation boxes in cooperation with the Red Cross.

You can leave your donations at Biomedicum (Ravila 19) till March 6.

You can bring to donation box:

  • new and unused bed linen (sheets, blankets, pillows);
  • sanitary napkins and diapers for children/adults;
  • shower gels and shampoos;
  • first aid supplies (disinfectants, bandages, patches, masks).

If you don't have any of these items at home, a monetary donation is also very helpful. You can get further information from web pages ukrainaheaks.ee/en and pagulasabi.ee/en/help-ukraine.

Donation boxes are also in University of Tartu Student Union's office (Ülikooli 18B) and irst floor of the Delta study building (Narva mnt 18).

The University of Tartu provides various kinds of support and assistance to the Ukrainian members of the university and their relatives who find themselves in a very difficult situation due to the war. For Ukrainian members of the university family, the first point of contact in emergency is the Head of International Cooperation Kristi Kerge (+372 529 7677). Please send written enquiries to ukraina@ut.ee. Further information is here.
