Three Minute Thesis competition for doctoral students (in English)

Doctoral students are welcome to Three Minute Thesis competition on 18 March. It is the preliminary round for the international Coimbra Group 3-Minute Thesis Competition. The winner will represent the University of Tartu at the competition organised by the international university network Coimbra Group

To participate in the competition, prepare a captivating three-minute lecture summarising the problem that is driving your research, the ways to solve it, and its importance and impact.

Come and give your lecture in front of the UT competition jury on 18 March (Jakobi 2-114). The jury will select the three best presentations that will be awarded. The video recording of the winning presentation will be sent to the international competition as the UT representative. We also
do our best to communicate the topics presented at the UT competition both via the university channels and in the press – so the exciting science stories can also be heard outside the university.

Last year’s top three lectures can be found here

- Imar Koutchoukali, Between Rahmānān and al-Rahmān: linguistic, religious, and social transformations in Late Antique South Arabia
