On 24-25 May in the library of the University of Tartu will be held conference "Teaching the unteachable", which focus on teaching skills in different contexts of medical education.
On the first day, plenary presentations were held by Nancy Weigle, Jonathan Fischer, and Grete Arro. In the second half of the day, there were workshops on teaching which where held by Ruth Kalda ja Tatjana Meister ning Anu Sarv ja Helen Reim, in addition to the main speakers.
During the two-day conference, both Estonian practitioner-lecturers and American guests will present evidence-based approaches of teaching medicine. The conference is practically oriented: the workshops will discover up-to-date methods of teaching medical-centered communication and other topics.
